🧩 STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1: Start with the Color Side Down
Place your square paper on a flat surface with the colored side facing down and the plain side facing up.
Step 2: Make a Vertical Center Crease
Fold the paper in half vertically from left to right. Press firmly, then unfold to create a clear center crease.
Step 3: Fold the Bottom Edge Upward
Take the bottom edge of the paper and fold it upward until it touches the center crease you just made.
Step 4: Fold the Bottom Corners Inward
Fold the left and right bottom corners inward, angling them toward the center to form a triangle shape.
Step 5: Shape the Top of the Heart
Fold the two top pointed corners downward slightly to begin forming the rounded heart shape.
Step 6: Smooth the Side Edges
Gently fold the side edges backward a little to soften sharp corners and make the heart look smoother.
Step 7: Flip and Finish
Turn the paper over. Your origami heart is complete and ready to use!
